Math 2130 -- Honors Multivariable Calculus --

office hours: Monday, Wednesday -- 2:00-3:30pm
HW: read the assigned sections, including examples, and do the suggested exercises. Ask questions in class.
Grading policy: there
will be 5 tests in class, one after each chapter.
Each chapter test contributes 20% for the final grade.
Voluntary projects can contribute up to 20% of the final grade.
The final exam can replace up to two chapter tests.
When the final grade is computed, the lowest scores are not included.
HW is not graded.

Description
Description: Honors Multivariable Calculus
The subject matter of MATH 2110(210) in greater depth, with emphasis on the underlying mathematical concepts.
Prerequisites: MATH 1152(136) or advanced placement credit for one year of calculus (a score of 4 or 5 on the Calculus BC examination) or consent of instructor. Open to sophomores or higher. Not open to students who have passed MATH 2110(210) or 2143(245). May be used in place of MATH 2110(210) to fulfill any requirement satisfied by MATH 2110(210).
