If you need advise and cannot come during a regular office hour, please send me an email at stein@math.uconn.edu to schedule a specific appointment. When you send an email for this or any other reason, please make sure that you include your name. Many students have sent me email messages without identifying themselves.
I strongly recommend that all students become familiar with the requirements of their program by reading the university catalog and also plan a tentative program prior to coming for advise. Ideally, a tentative program should be planned for your entire University of Connecticut career. This plan will probably be changed each semester, but will make planning easier. A form such as the following may be used and revised as your college career progresses.

The CLAS Academic Services Center website is a helpful resource which contains not only the rules and regulations, but also a listing of students' frequently asked questions, links to other student services, forms that can be printed out, and information about CLAS majors and minors.
