Abstract. David Evans' alternate and elegant version of a construction due to Hrushovski will be presented. Evans builds a family of stable oriented hypergraphs having trivial geometry. The non-oriented reducts of Evans' examples are the "ab initio" structures invented by Hrushovski in the 90's, and used by Hrushovski to settle several conjectures in model theory.
